Letting a property in Benson
Benson is a large village in South Oxfordshire, sitting on the Thames about a mile and a half north of Wallingford, at the point where the Ewelme Brook meets the river near Benson Lock.
The village's most distinctive modern feature is RAF Benson, an operational Royal Air Force station founded in 1939 remaining active today, supporting both national defence and the local economy. The village has a strong community feel, with a primary school, doctor's surgery, library and a good spread of local shops along the popular High Street. There is a Village Hall, tennis courts and playing fields.
